I want to share what I think is the most moving description of how Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder sabotages our goals and dreams.

It is a poem, written over a century ago, long before ADHD was a recognized diagnosis.

I stumbled upon this while doing an exercise to improve my memory. And it had me in tears.

There are hundreds of studies about how ADHD dramatically increases the risk of Divorce, Car Accidents, Addiction, Bankruptcy, etc. But this poem captures the ultimate emotional cost of untreated ADHD.
