There are online tests that may be helpful up to a point. However, working with a career counsellor who understands ADHD can open your eyes to options you might never have considered. As Wilma Fellman explains, there are many factors to consider, but the end result is worth it.

And when you eventually find a job you love, a job where you can soar, there’s always the risk that your good work will lead to a promotion to a completely different position, with very different tasks and responsibilities which are NOT a match for you.

Surprisingly, what works for many folks with ADHD is a job with lots of structure. It sounds counter-intuitive, but as Rick explains, structure, frequent feedback, and clear goals allow you to focus on what you do best.
